In my opinion it depends on what the person is buying the link for - Traffic ? to have a quality backlink from another site ? to try and increase his websites own
PR ? to increase his serps rankings ?
If you are selling a link from your site to their site, then that is really what you should be giving the buyer - a straight link from site a to b.
SE's will not count this as a backlink from your domain A. (your site you sold a link from) if it diverts to domain X. (the redirect site) and then to domain B. (the customers site)
The Decision is yours though
