My feeling is that four letter domains have to be long term holdings. It may take 10 or 20 years before such names find an end user, if ever.

But I think four letter .co.uk domains will have a value above reg fee because they generally are a good alternative to longer and harder to remember domains.

Admin, in your example you picked a domain that is clearly unattractive. But 3 letter .coms and 3 letter .co.uk s with non-premium letters sell for respectable prices. Similarly, there is every chance that 4 letter .co.uks will go up, though by not as much, and not as fast, obviously.
