That's actually how I started!... buying only for myself with the intent to only build out myself. Then as I added clients, they too wanted names .. some of which never got used. The portfolio grew (along with apps to find decent names) and it was eventual that I started to unload some of them.
A lot of my names I will still keep to develop myself.
