Bit puzzled as to you saying that nominet say there was a conflict of interest ? (that could be a matter for the law society )
As the complainant lost the case with the solicitor who was on the board if he was on the panel then person would have possible claim to a re appeal because of the conflict of interest ? also is it 'Small Claims Court', special procedure for handling smaller claims in a county court (Maximum claim amount £5,000) you ask for a solicitor but you may need a barrister or no one at all, There are plenty of magic or Silver Circle firms what sort would depend greatly on the nature of the complainants claim e.g they have a trademark, stole the domain, breached a contract etc etc
