Just thought i would come back to you all about this. I decided that, on reflection, it wasn't a good idea for me personally. Yes i can see the benefits as others have stated, but the reality was the guy in question was reluctant to agree anything in writing, and the exchange of emails left me with the impression i was trying to get blood out of a stone for that. Some people like to do business on a word, some like it on paper, that's just the way it is i suppose. It didn't help matters much when there was a constant barrage of what will be done, you end up feeling it is pushy waffle, especially with lines such as "
All I need from you fella is to remember i have the right to re-direct". Not exactly confidence building.
The upshot of it all was that trust is a significant factor, maybe it's me not showing any, but as it's my domain, i need to tread carefully. I'd still be interested to hear from anyone who has already been down this route though.
