I disagree with DropCatcher above, I think some domains are complimented by the hyphen where the first word ends with the same letter the next word starts with. The prime example is National-Lottery.co.uk they have the non-hyphen pointing to the hyphen. I'd be interested to see the log files on nationalottery.co.uk IF they used nationallottery.co.uk as their main name.

I don't like hyphen names myself, but IF you can own BOTH with and without the example above, the hyphen is what I would use (I would also buy the single L variation too, directed to hyphen).
