In response to your comments on 3D and Ar - my view is that sometimes it takes a while for a concept to become a mainstream reality. In the case of AR, the increase in mobile phone's capabilities coupled with more accessible software (see
http://layar.com/) means that you are likely to see this grow. The potential for extremely useful applications is unbelieveable. AR is the link for interaction between the mass of realtime information available on the web and the real world in which we interact, opening untold new opportunities. I can not see how it can fail to become a 'big deal'. I could rattle off dozens of applications but perhaps that would be best for another thread

As for 3D, I don't think this will be as life changing as AR but will be a huge market. Did you go to see Avatar? It was a great experiance and literally did add another dimension to the result. I know some laptops are now 3D ready and it seems to have gripped the media and public's consciousness and so again, I cannot see this fading out in a hurry.
