I own the script, and don't quite understand your point here? There are no broken links, if a link or category doesn't exist then it won't show, you typed in a non existent url which would take you to a custom 404 error page.
I looked at the site in question that doesn't have a sqldatabases.html link or category hence the reason it went to a default page 'not found'.
For all 'hardcoded' fans, you can make the results offer .html or .php, you just call it from an include from within the tpl.html file.
