What do sedo actually do for the extra money?

In recent transfers I am the one requesting forms, filling them out, posting them off etc. Likewise the transfer fee, form filling , posting to nominet is done by the purchaser.

There is no aspect of nominets 'red tape' that sedo gets involved with. The only 'extra' compared to a .com transfer is that there is a longer time period.

Which parts of Nominets red tape cost Sedo money?
