Hi guys,

Was great to see everyone there and glad that you all enjoyed the pancakes. It's amazing how many new faces you get to see even when you think you've seen everyone there is to see. The Nominet, Internet World, UKDNA and Acorn Bash was an awesome quadruple whammy and I hope we can repeat the success sometime in the near future.
Massive thanks to Edwin for tweaking knobs and pulling strings to get this going and as ever to Alan for providing such a great forum both online and in the pubs and restaurants of England

Well done to Mr D for his election to the board and I hope very much to see everyone again very soon.

P.S. It appears, despite the putting away many moon-sized pancakes and foreign lager, we still came in way under budget, so you should set your sights on doubling your consumption at the next gig.

Phew........I have paid the price for the amount of chilli they put on my Hot Dutch pancake.

I think a Acorn weekender is needed at a hotel. The get togethers are good but you don't get to speak to everyone, either because of the loud pub noise or the long tables! Now there's been 2 decent get togethers maybe we can arrange something a bit larger circa oxford maybe? that was the most central destination I believe from previous threads.

We could then have drinks/meal/golf/auction/seminar or talks maybe???

As you came down the stairs I sitting towards the left - typical!

Sat a couple up from Edwin, but moved down the table halfway though to chat to Jim D and Paul.

Oh well, we've only been chatting by phone and email for over 5 years now - and still to speak face to face!
