Do you have an Adsense account?

Do you have a Twitter account?

If you do then you are invited to create a new Topic at http://upvoting.com/

There is no registration or login required. No personal details are required.

You can benefit from 90% Ad Share on your topic page with the earnings being directly credited to your Adsense account. When your topic goes live it will be featured on our home page, so creative and interesting topics are likely to attract more voters to your page.

You can also choose up to three words/phrases to use as #hashtags, so your Topic can also be used to promote Twitter #Hashtag campaigns.

    What you will need:
    - twitter account, @username
    - category, choose from available options
    - title (50 characters) - used in voter's tweets
    - summary (90) - used on site home page
    - description (400) - to get your point across in more detail
    - web link, optional
    - three keywords, optional, used as #hashtags
    - adsense account id

Your new topic will then be created. You will then need to send us a special verify tweet to confirm and then your new topic will go live 1 hour later (+24hrs for new users).

Topics last for up to 3 months (you can end early), and your Adsense Share will stay the same even when your topic has ended.

Our web site has just launched so we are offering a 90% share today, but this may be reduced at a later date. The rate you obtain on the day you create a new topic will stay the same.

You are also welcome to try the site out by voting on existing topics. For example...

    - Should Scotland be an independent country? - http://upvoting.com/vote/322
(tweet: "@upvoting vote322" for yes; tweet: "@downvoting vote322" for no)

Upvote / Downvote - Vote with a Tweet

Doesn't that mean that if the site gets banned for being too spammy, there's a risk all Adsense accounts on it will get suspended?

No, not at all. Google acknowledges that placing ads with your Publisher ID on a third party web site is acceptable practice, providing you have permission to do so. They even go as far as to provide an opt-out method so that, if you wish, you can block any domain from using your account ID. You could even run your account in white-list mode only. You have full control of your account settings. However you are still bound by the same policies as if the ads were being served by your own web site. So you can encourage traffic to your page but you aren't allowed to encourage clicks.

We will be promoting topics on the home page (and other domain rollouts are planned). However the main source of traffic is expected to come from people voting. Every time they vote there will be a link to your topic page in their tweet. And that tweet will be seen by all of their followers.

Content is user submitted but we have several layers of automated protection against spam-like activity. And we have a moderating team. Your Adsense ID is only used on the topic pages that you create. The only other content that appears on it will be recent tweets from voters. We have a notification link for any tweet that appears objectionable.

We are aiming to create a complimentary community of voters and topic authors and the nature of the site will certainly be less spammy than say a forum. If at any time you are unhappy with the way the site is run you can easily disavow us through your account settings.
