Thought i'd share a bit of success with you all
I know what a tough game affiliate marketing is and its getting harder every year (my opinion)

Ive had an awesome weekend though with one of my email campaigns
I sent a sample marketing shot out Saturday

    Saturday £392
    [IMG]

and Sunday sent out the remainder to my list

Is that revenue to you, or gross revenue? Either way, well done!

So from what I can see 1 out of 2 people who click are going ahead and purchasing the product and you are getting £28 commision per sale/lead?

    That is pretty impressive...

    yes Mat thats right
i tend to build small but niche targeted email lists
they do generate me revenue from other sources but i send a few broadcasts out each month
i guess their is truth in the old saying 'content is king, but the gold is in the list'

just on that quote above, you are right but thats the ones who have clicked through from the emails and quite a lot dont click through or open the email, so this is right at the end of the sales funnel

Rather than just post a 'look at me' earnings figure, how about showing people what sort of sites you're building? Or where to get email addresses? Or any single thing of value that would help people get started in affiliate marketing?

OK fair comment but i was just pleased with a decent weekends work and wanted to share the love lol

Ive been spending more and more time looking at traffic generation through Google and Facebook communities
Im trying to avoid paying for traffic where i can and trying to add value to groups / communities

As far as offers, im trying to spend more time looking at higher paying offers
i used to look at low earning high volume offers but its too much work for too little money

I'd love to be able to buy carinsurance/co/uk off the chap on here as im interested in car related offers like car loans, insurance and parts but im not a millionaire and cant afford it lol

Im also more interested in email marketing than content where i can

    Question for you all

Does anyone have any joy with Adsense anymore?

I guess if you were willing, you could provide some figures and stats and general background, without revealing niches, and it would still add some value...

    - For example, how many email subscribers are behind the results you posted?
    - How many website visitors (assuming that's where they're coming from) does it take to generate one email subscriber?
    - Do you only email out offers, or is the list you're mailing to one that's receiving "real content" as well, interspersed by offer emails?
    - Did you generate the email list in-house or buy it in from a third party
    - How regularly do you email your list
    - What software/platform/tool do you use for email management

Those are just a few examples of questions that don't show the "secret sauce" that I quite understand you'd want to keep to yourself, yet give some idea of the magnitude of the task involved for those reading along. I'm sure there's many, many more things you could think of to share like the examples above, without ever giving "the game away" as to exactly who you're mailing about what (which is the "golden goose" in scenarios like this)

Anyway, congratulations again - a much more impressive achievement now that it's clear your numbers represent revenue to you, not a gross to be commissioned against.

I'm not sure what joy is anymore if you can make that much sending out a few emails lol

I've got a site related to tourism, 2/3k unique visitors a day, static content, makes about £1000 pm from adsense which I'm very pleased with.

But you can only spam an email list every so often. So yes you can have a great 2 days when you hit it.... but what would be far more interesting would be numbers from a month, or 3 months or something.

I'd be interested to know what sort of product it is :) It says apps rather than sales so I'm guessing something like life insurance. Though there is no way you could get that conversion rate from emails, so who knows

Some great questions there, ill try and take some time this week to answer them but ive a chicken dinner nearly ready lol

    @Murray
£1k on adsense is awesome. Ive had so many ups and downs with adsense its really frustrating to get it ocnsistent

    @monkey
yes, so right. you are limited to the number of times you can email a list before it becomes spam, fair comment
im trying to focus on high value affiliate programs like insurances, casino, hosting etc and would love to own that carinsurance/co/uk domain on here lol but id need a lot lot lot more weekends at this to be able to afford that

    actually that runs nicely...
payday loans = get yourself some money with your payday loan
sex toys = spend it on a mistress and have some fun
divorce solicitors = get caught by the mrs and divorced
debt stuff = watch her take the house lol
