Do the feeds from retailers need updating?

I've looked through a number of retailers and some have no products or very few, or just nonesense.

Examples...
pet supermarket = 0 products
pets at home = 1 product
vitamins direct = 1 product called 73.0.00 priced at 0.00
pharmacy2u = nonesensical product names priced at 0.00
maximuscle = no products
Majestic wine = no products
Baby monitors direct = no products

If there are no products, there's no point in listing the stores. I was going to move a couple more domains over but if there's no products in the feeds, there's no point in me wasting my time.

Hi DW,

We are going through all the feeds over the next day or so and so there will be times when some are temporarily showing no products.

Unfortunately, this is all part of the transition (from the sale) and is unavoidable.

Nice Idea Dave,

But think it is fair to remined people that if thay are putting adsense on sites like this google requests all sites must have a privacy policy, This is something i learnt making bans sites and reference to it can be found in this video

to be fair even without adsence it is worth using a privacy policy on every myaffsite as they all use cookies.

so i guess to apply this to myaffsite sites it could be done in the articles module,

Dave, Maybe it would be best to give this its own stand alone module with links next to it to show places people can get privacy policys knocked up for free.

Thank you for your post.

You are right in that the articles module allows users to add terms & conditions, or a privacy policy, or similar, but I also take your point about making it easier to facilitate this.

I was merely pointing out that the current technology does allow for Adsense placement, but I should have said that any use of any advertising medium should meet the T&C of the ad network used.

Oh, and I can't claim the idea for the site.. that is down to Chris, the previous owner

Hi Dave.

Any Idea why I am having problems with these sites?

ukhiphop.co.uk - just gets page load error (as if it doesn't exist, nameserver changed).
childmonitors.co.uk - no products (check it out for yourself)
audiodeals.co.uk - Styling issues, some products off the page (right)

They were all working fine before the change.

I'd guess that childmonitors.co.uk takes a feed from baby monitors direct which currently has no products (see my post further up)
