The 6 Nations kick off this weekend - anyone got any predictions?

I'm taking one of my son's to Murrayfield...I think it'll be a close match.

Given the number of changes that have been made since the World Cup, coupled with the injury worries, I think it will be one of the closest 6 nations in years.

I would like to predict a winner, but don't think I can. No one team stands out. England have ALOT to prove, from both players and the coaching team.

Scotland, Ireland and France are pretty much on par with each other.

Wales have picked the wrong team, choosing players to match the ref, rather than the team (IMHO).

Italy will still be there for one win for most teams.

This weekend will be a good chance to see what the teams are like, following a world cup year. I have told the wife I WILL be screaming at the TV.

    C'MON ENGLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't argue with any of that...if Scotland have the same form they had in the World Cup, this England team had better have improved.

As for a title winner...could be one of 5 until we see what goes on tomorrow, but I'd put us (to me that's England) as outsiders.

There was a preview on the TV last night. They couldn't call it.

Just looking at the Paddy Power odds, they think Italy will be last (no surprise there) with France and Scotland close behind them, and Eng, Ire and Wal in top 3. William Hill are roughly the same.

England were solid but not sparkling...Scotland weren't as impressive as in the WC.

Ireland Wales was entertaining and the best result for England! I didn't see France Italy.

    Roll on next weekend!

Good job there's only 80minutes in a match! Looking forward to Saturday...so long as the France team that played yesterday turn up - you never know with the Frenchies.

Good to see Scotland win yesterday - Stuart Hogg...what a match he had!

that is for sure, but how many times have we also said the same in the past? I missed the first half, so only came into the game at 19-0.

At least its a win, and great for the new coaching and team line up.

Now for the slam, but as you say, we may get a world class French team turn up, or a tier 2 team who struggle to beat Italy.
