I know you have already renewed it but if you already have a website in the same line of business wouldn't it of just been wise to renew it and forward it to your website? if you didn't want to let it go cheap and were concerned a competitor would take business away from you with it then it seems sensible to do that. Is there some sort of negative effect of pointing many domains of similar type to one website?

There would no negative effect in forwarding it, but the existing site is a .me.uk, and I feel the .tv is a much stronger extension. I will probably build another site on the .tv and have two with the same keyphrase, although the To Do list is already rather long!

Ok this is getting confusing, first you were going to let it drop because you thought it was worth more money than you could actually sell it for and would prefer it to drop for no return rather than sell it for a small return to someone, now you think its a better extension than the one you currently have a site on but are struggling for time to develop it so its in limbo. Very strange some of the thinking in this thread.
