I think its a good idea except I see no reason whay you have to be in a group of 3 to take part?

I (and i'm guessing some others) work on own so I can't have a team .

To be honest I don't need or want a team. Also, I think it might go to show what an individual can achieve in this industry.

I think that, whilst a team is a good idea (pooling resources, learning from eachother, etc), individuals should be allowed to enter on their own if they so wish.

The whole idea for teams was to have groups of people who would otherwise never work together form working relationships and communicate as a whole.

In this industry we suffer from to much individualism, thus IMHO will only grow more quickly, gain strength and trust by working together as a whole.

I have my team sorted 'ratboy', 'bb99' and myself. We have never worked together and it will be very challenging because we are each very individual and never take on partners, but i totally see that by working together it will benefit me.

Please give it a try and if it doesen't work next year we may add it as an extra option.

This is a violation of my human rights! I want to be on my own, where my MEP!!!

seriously..is it my fault i spend 19 hours a day in front of a computer doing nothing else except coding and domaining - should a man be punished in this way for having no friends because he is working so hard trying to become at one with the Internet?

imho the whole 'team' thing is so 1999 (been there done that) - I thought we were moving into the era of individualism and entrepreneurship - with all the small businesses that are so babdly run and rightly falling apart only to be propped up with tax payers money because there so inefficient they can't sustain themselves without a loan.. (rant over)

Anyway at the risk of sounding arrogant i'm trying to visualise how working in a "team" would benefit me in any way in developing a regfee domain name - if I can't do that them im in the wrong biz and im in serious shite ?

..theres no 'i' in team but theres a me

muwahahahahahah..

The team thing is what will kill the idea. Yes it is a good idea and beneficial for many but logistically it ain't gonna happen.

I'm in essex and as ratboy will remember up for it but got no response. even if others are in essex it's going to be a fair old trek to meet up.

The other thing about teams is there's almost always one slack arsed lazy b'stard being carried by the rest!!

Mr Toth confirmed last night his team is willing to stump up 15-20% of earnings at the end towards the winners party - a noble gesture I am sure others will be happy to match ?

Team Rob is being assembled right now

I see a lot of people are not keen on single people instead of teams, what about 2 people teaming up?
