More of a personal project than domaining.

Anyone use Buddypress for social networks. Is it any good and will Wordpress continue to support it?

Anyone have any better sugestions for social networking forum? Prefereably one where I can slip in a bit of adsense

I tried buddypress a while ago and wasn't impressed, the social and blog side of things just didn't seem to integrate well at all.

Jomsocial looks a million times better, it's not free though.
