Photo sharing

Has anyone used any kind of photo sharing script.
Want users to be able to upload their own images and galleries etc. Maybe even comment on photos?

I used coppermine (was hacked EVERY time it got to like 2-3 months past upgrade).

Gallery is alright, customising it was a hassle when I used it.

Lots of people are just including flickr via api, looks like a hassle to me, but looks nice.

http://www.iscripts.com/gallery/ this was the last one I looked at before coding my own photo bucket clone.

I spent all my time on code with the intention of making it pretty at a later date. However when it started eating half a tb of bandwidth, 12gb diskspace and regularly needing 1-2gb of ram I had nuke the idea. As putting on a VPS wasn't viable.

Ive started on a bit of code my self now as it seems there isnt much out there really. Ive gone for a slightly different tack with this now though. Ive gone for more of a piccsy style, where as before I was thinking more flickr.

Skinner, If you were interested in running your code again, i would bet a whole pound I could I get it on a cheap vps and get it using far less ram. Would be an interesting project to try.
