Google Adsence account disabled?... wtf!?

I'm under the assumption that quite a few people may have experienced this before so I hope to get some ideas on the most effective way to get this resolved...

I had an email this morning stating that my Google Adsence account has been disabled... I checked and it is... this isn't a spoof before you ask.

I don't click my own ads and infact when I checked it yesterday my revenue was exactly what I would expect... the same average as it always is...

So.. whats going on? Why would they disable it and what is the best way to get it reinstated. I know there is a form to fill in but has anyone had any particular success with certain replies etc?...

I'm completely dumbfounded... I have no idea why this has happened...

Hope someone can help!

Rich

There a whole raft of google spam emails going around at the moment. Almost rivalling the no of 'increase your lenght' (yes I know I spelled it wrong most spam mails do!

They seem to be originating from .cn names.

Just delete...

Rich, you sure you checked the url in the email properly? If not it could go to a phishing site and they will (I think) just change the bank details in your adsense account (the proper one) - i.e. so payments go to them not you.

Good luck with it, I must get about 30 a day currently.

Here is my suggestion from the search on I did recently for google adsense: Check you adsense logs and see whether you have gotten a some repetitive clicks from same IP at the same day. If so they thought some of your buddy actually clicked on your add. Then send them these logs and explain your situation. even though some jerk could click on your ads repetitively they do not reimburse the money your earnt so far. So at the end you will be shafted for being robbed by the revenue you earnt so far but there is a chance of getting your account back. By the way was your account new? Was it around 100 $ or GBP accumulated?

TurNIC
Note: I hate G. Their adsense sucks and they rip you for adwords.

Problem with this approach is that when they disable your account they really do disable it... I can't get into anything. When I log in I get an 'account disabled' page with two lines of text and a link to FAQ, thats it.

Ive had my account for about 2 years now I guess so its not that new really... I can't remember what the account total was but it wasn't earth shattering becasue I don't really use adsence that much, I just leave it to tick over on my minisites...

Breached their terms? I know they've recently updated their TOC's again.

Surely they should give you a reason. Have Adsense paid you before?

Perhaps it's for labelling Google ads as "Links"? That seems to be the kind of thing that's against their current T&C - they're recently very keen to make sure that their ads can't be mistaken for anything but ads...
