Adsense vs YPN

I have seen lots of webmasters moving over YPN and ditching adsense recently...

One feature i noticed with YPN is that it seems you can target any keyword for any site...can this be achieved in any way with adsense? ie can i put loans ads on a non-loans site? This would make a huge difference to the adsense revenue.

The only option i could dream up was to use the adsense targeting code and put it at the bottom of the page around a line of loan keywords...but that would look spammy - unless i hide those words from the user within a div set to display:none ...mmmm

Anyone know about this?

Probably! Something i'm not willing to risk... just gutted we don't have YPN over here in the UK and there's been no announcement about it either!

What's YPN? I'd use a viable alternative to google, they're too big for their boots these days, they want to be the biggest affiliate in the world which isn't good for any of us.

YPN = Yahoo Publisher Network

I don't have a problem with adsense...it's just you have to choose where the fattest cheques are! YPN certainly started out being very decent PPC, whether it stays that way is another matter...they may just be using higher payouts to steal competition from gg. In fact they don't offcially lauch in the US until june i think...no hint of UK tho.
