Thumbs up Highest CPC Value ??? you have seen

Was just checking a few keywords on the google tool and was happy to see
some very high CPC Cost Per Click values

no win no fee personal injury claim
2,400 2,400
£59.94

how much does this reduce if your landing page score is good ??

how much would ad sense revenue be on this do you think

lets see some other from everyone

Cheers Steve

going by the stuff I have been doing for www.claims.co.uk etc - if you look into some of the nasty spinal stuff then the CPC's are quite dizzy.

Still not sure about those numbers.. I believe that's what's being paid on
Google search and not on the conent network..

I mean, how easy would it be to reg a domain for 3, get some content for a fiver and get a friend to click...

Very lucrative business I would say

So don't get carried away with numbers shown on the keyword tool

But just to add to the mania..

Came across an exact match for some po ferries related term this afternoon which supposably had a cpc of 232 euro.

What a joke

Those figures have got to be on successfull claim or actual follow through purchase haven't they, not per click.

When I used to do PPC google actually had a max cpc set that you couldnt go over.

I cant remember exactly as its been over 2 years but I think it was £60 per click, it made loans bidding a nightmare.

I was bidding the max and still couldnt get the number 1 spot and therefore was unable to loss lead to get my CTR up.

I'm not sure if they have a limit on the contextual side but they definately had one on the search end.

I do know that they put it in to stop mistakes, you can imagine a simple typo could see your CPC hit £600 or £6000 quite easily so i'd be surprised if theyve removed it

(unless theyve added a double opt in system for bids over a certain level which would work).

Hope this helps

Russ

If you want to boost your CTR without necessarily changing anything else, use the exact-match domain name! At least, that's what my study proved last year...
