![]() | Adsense requirements?
Relaunching a few old sites, an example: Budgie Cages What is required other than a privacy policy and 'dont click on these ads' My privacy policy is no follow, no dir, etc. Will this effect googles automated system from picking up that I have one? Thanks, Ash |

Your privacy policy looks followed (from the menu) to me, but assuming that it wasn't.. There's evidence to suggest Google 'looks' at nofollow pages/links even if it doesn't give PR 'credit' for them. Also, I believe that there are a few articles floating around which say that nofollowing internal links (other than shopping carts, registration pages and similar) is a waste of time. Got a link here: http://www.google.com/support/forum/...e65b306a&hl=en You'll have to do the digging yourself if you want more info on my other points though |

Are google tightening up on the sites that place adsense on their websites? I just thought that you could ask people to click the links or mention how the site might be funded. Is this no longer the case?

I would guess so... weird though - my sites are all unique content and I have never directed any click to the ads or broken there policies at all as far as I was aware: Quote:

What happens if you have 20 sites and one breaches the rules as they say. Do all go offline? Can you open a new account and start again?

The point is they were just made, they are going to be bloggs with lots of content. If google ban your account it is banned across all sites. |
