Renewal required?

I'm waiting for a domain to drop, the dates are as follows:

Relevant Dates:
Registered on: 03-Sep-1999
Renewal Date: 03-Sep-2005
Last updated: 16-Sep-2003

Registration Status:
Renewal required.

What does 'Renewal Required' actualy mean? When would this domain go to a Suspended date?

HI,

Well 7 June renewal date names were dropping today so you are likely to have to wait nearly 3 months - assuming it doesn't get renewed in the meantime. I think the drop date may be 11 December.

Thanks for the possible drop date Brassneck. I think this will be renewed by the owner before it drops anyway!

Its just I couldn't find any reference on Nominets site to say how long the Renewal required period would be before it goes to suspended. Unless I've got things the wrong way round!
