Domain susspended before renewal date

Ive found a domain that has been suspended a couple of months before its renewal date, does this mean that the owner has surrendered the domain or something?

also how can you predict the drop date?

anyone who knew anything about domains would not let this name drop!

Do you know if the business using the domain has gone in to receivership?

I have a similar one I was looking at registering, renewal date in November, it should have dropped in February, but it's still showing as below:

its registrant type is a UK individual

archive.org is showing that it rediected to unrelated site a couple of years ago which is no longer registered.

the renewal date is not until july 09 but it says last updated 28 march 09 and then says This registration has been SUSPENDED.

Yup but all the info you need is there to make a guess on a drop date

along the same lines, once a domain is suspended can the original registrant renew it or is it too late?

In normal circumstances you can renew a domain right up to the second before it drops, suspended before renewals may be different tho.

I'm not that bright obviously! I still can't figure out how you can guess the drop dates for these suckers!
