I have had an approach form a building company to buy buyland.co.uk what do you think it is worth ?

I have a bad habit of overpricing domains so I won't say what I really think!

I would say that if you think it's a decent enough amount of money that they are offering you then take it, IMO it's a decent enough name to an end user but i doubt you would get much traffic revenue parking it, and it has no OVT.

If they are asking you how much you want for it I would start at around £800 but if it was me, probably take £500 (depends how much you need the money).

If you push to hard they could just register purchaseland.co.uk which is available if anyone wants it.

It's a reasonable domain but it's not a high value generic, so ultimately it's worth what they are prepared to pay for it, so you will have to use good negotiation skills to get that out of them, i.e. ask them to make an offer, say no way, ask them to make another offer etc, keep going etc.
