.com / stabvest

Had an enquiry today regarding this.

Obviously there is a (sadly) growing market for these, with the daily stabbings.

Would anyone care to put a value on it ?

To be honest, if someone was entrepreneurial enough, they would source these jackets and get them made in funky designs and build a site selling them. This would add the "want" factor for kids to want one, and it would also protect them and save hundreds of lives - if Nike or Adidas want to talk to me about buying the domain then I am all ears

This problem is going to get much worse and I know if I lived in London (the worst area for stabbings at the moment) I would be making my kids wear one or failing that, move away !

Thanks

I bloody hope that when I get round to having kids Stab vests arnt a norm! Ill stick to the countryside thanks! I dont see it taking off tbh, there is alot more crime in other countries and you dont see them walking around in bullet proof vests or stab vests.

There is a market though in security guards, bouncers, bailiffs....

Thanks for that Mat, and I agree totally with you. Sad state of affairs at the moment.

It has even hit the national papers today and government plans for NHS workers have been revealed today :

The Press Association: Stab vests go-ahead for NHS staff

and this one Doctors and teachers to be given body armour - Telegraph which highlights them "The most popular item requested was the £300 Home Office-approved KR1 stab vest.

another one NHS workers will be able to have stab vests | The Sun |HomePage|News

Can someone please give me their honest opinion on this domain, as I have not replied to the enquirer yet - wanted to get some other people's views.

Thanks
