ftse500.com

Hi

This is one of the domains I have that I feel may be worth something.

If not now but in the future.

Everyone has heard of the ftse500.

Most days it is mentioned in the Newpapers, On radio and of course the TV.

Any idea on value ?

Regards

Gavin Rookyard

Thanks Rob

That has put a bit of a on things.

I thought this was a great one.

I don't really understand it all. The legal side of domains.

I see that some of the ftse domains are for sale by other people and even some in use with general websites.

I cannot work out what is legal and what is not.

If you look at most words they are all trademarked by someone down the line.

Any help on understanding the legal side of domains would be great.

Thanks Rob

Regards

Gav

The best way to understand current thinking is to read up on the appropriate dispute resolution cases. These are generally published, and are worth skimming at least.

ICANN generic top-level domains ('gTLDs') and a few country-code top-level domains ('ccTLDs') follow the 'Uniform Domain-name Dispute Resolution Policy' (UDRP (sic)). See ICANN | Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy

Also see Nominet's DRS procedure for .uk domains, at Dispute Resolution Service

Regards,

P.
