    Love it. Great adult name.

You need to get something on it. I would be tempted to split the index page into

    magazines
    dvd
    streaming
    adult dating
    swinging

all the above have affiliation sites that pay reasonable money.

It is such an easy name to remember. Good luck with it.

It is difficult to think exactly who would want to use that, but it is very memorable and a three letter word.

So I would expect a trader to pay low-ish £xxxx. To the right end user in the region of £5K

Kind of backwards thinking but I think a travel website,

    I would brand it

    Wet?

with a question mark at the end, get them thinking of an alternative.

    I do like the name.

In an ideal world I would keep away from the adult arena with it but it seems (and I have yet to sit down and scribble some ideas,) that that is what this is best suited too.

Im happy with it and its potential but I really need to get iow finished instead of changing the template every month

Its been a long slog to get hold of it but Im glad its finally mine.

How about boating, yachting, jetskis, and other watersports (not the adult variety ) etc, it would suit the name, and I expect that affiliate ads would pay good commission for that sort of stuff, or maybe combine that with a directory type site, covering the UK coastline and inland watersport areas, with paid for advertising for chandlers, jet ski and boat hire etc to advertise on there as well. That could link up nicely with your iow site, I know there's a lot of that sort of stuff around those parts.

Put IOW on the back burner. 10 x the potential with this little beauty.

    >In an ideal world I would keep away from the adult arena
Why? What is wrong with adult? Anyone and everyone who has a partner does "adult" things.

Fact: UK is the largest porn hungry country using the internet.
    Google Trends: porn

We hold the top 4 city spots in the world

OK maybe it's just me because I have a few adult names, but the first thing that springs to my mind when I see "wet.co.uk" is adult. Maybe if I lived by the coast and surfed i would think of "water" but I don't. Neither does 99% of the population. I would think there is a lot more to be made from adult with this name than there is with anything else.

Turn safe search off in google and do an image search for: wet

This is a cracking name and screams adult. :gd

Have you looked at wet.com? It's adult-oriented without being too NSFW

Maybe they want a UK distributor/affiliate?

I'd avoid the adult area, I'm pretty sure its a TM of TRIGG, who make sex toys and stuff, which maybe an issue :)

The people who own wet.com have TM'd their logo, that is all.

    lol!
There is no way in hell they could claim trademark to the word "wet" or good faith for adult related goods/services

    The class states:
    List of goods or services
    Class 03: Moisturising lubricants.

So the trademark is for the logo they put on their lubricant bottles. That is it.

    >nor am I an expert on prison life, but I know I aint bending down for no soap :p
With a bottle of "wet" you wouldn't have to.

I'm uber cautious, I'd avoid Adult, but maybe if I was going to go there, I'd certainly avoid any products they made, like ID Lube as well.

I'd sooner not take any chances, and carry a bottle wet to jail :p

The only non adult theme I can think of at the moment is some kind of site/directory for swimming pools, beaches, waterparks and the like.

Infact, imagine if you were selling spas and hot tubs and your site was called wet?

I'd go with a water theme rather than porn if it was me. I run and have run a load of porn sites in the past and I honestly wouldn't really associate wet.co.uk with porn.
