OK - I've picked up a load of 'news' .org.uk's and I've picked this one out of the bunch.

I'd thought I'd get some expert advice on possible value of this domain, so to get a rough ball park figure which I can use as a baseline value for the rest.

I know loads of you don't like .org.uk's, but I'm hoping that being news related that they're considered relevant to the extension. ;)

    Many thanks in advance. :)

Hellooo is there anyone there...? :)

Seriously - is there anyone who can give me some idea? - I've listed a few more below to give a flavour of what I have:

    motoringnews .org .uk
    sportsnews .org .uk
    propertynews .org .uk
    musicnews .org .uk
    regionalnews .org .uk
    consumernews .org .uk
    financialnews .org .uk
    livenews .org .uk
    motoringnews .org .uk
    businessnews .org .uk

...Any help would be appreciated (even if it's not good news)! ;)

    Cheers,

    Sneezy.

I'll start the ball rolling by saying

"ive never seen a .org.uk that Ive thought worthy of me shelling out £6"

IMHO - On face value most .org.uk's don't appear to be worth much...

    That said:

Generic and keyword rich ones can be, depending on the name in question...

Their are also some .org.uk's that IMHO will, outstrip the record for the majority of .co.uk's when sold.

Whilst very rare, their potential is huge.

Metal bash I went to last night uses a .org.uk for their site as it was an obvious 'cheaper' allternative than trying to buy the .co.uk...

That - I think - is how .org.uk steps into the equation in most cases...

Predator has been very astute in noticing that factor.

...Cheers guys - your i/p is apreciated! :)

It seems to me that maybe some .org.uk domains are really best suited for some sort of small scale development rather than sale, especially if the right kind of keywords are contained within. Like you say - the cheaper option - but... ;)

    Cheers,

    Sneezy.
