I only own the .UK. Any idea how much this might be worth, if anything more than the reg fee?

    Thanks.

Why do you think it is worth zero? No possible marketability or use? Keyword gets 50k searches monthly, which is why I thought it wasn't total garbage, but I'm just getting started, so getting to know what makes a good domain would be very useful. Thanks.

    More opinions are welcome.

It doesn't. It gets 880 searches a month. You need to set the location to "United Kingdom" to get an idea of UK-based traffic. And with a "Low" competition rating, that suggests few or no advertisers - and therefore few or no potential buyers.

Who do you imagine would buy a domain like this?

I can't think of anyone, that's why I say zero

Ah, yeah, was looking at global searches. My assumption was that it could be targeted beyond the UK, even despite the UK extension. I guess that there's not much marketability for UK domains outside of the UK, as would be logically expected, right? So in general one should look at regional statistics with this kind of domains.

I was thinking of a SEO optimized page talking about the disorder with potential ways to make some money from advertisements. But this was taking into account the figure for global amount of searches monthly.

Buy it, probably very very few. However putting aside anything to do with the domain name industry I can't help but think this domain name might fit terrifically as the title of the bios for a fair few members of this forum!

I think majorsellout.co.uk would be far more appropriate... or perhaps majorturncoat.co.uk.... oooh I could do this all day.

I don't use PM but noticed you'd edited another thread where you had previously mentioned the four letter name of "the early stages" of something you had? I'd never heard of it before but had Googled it and saw it could be related to smoking. I've now forgotten what it was! I'm trying to pursuade someone I know to switch to e-cigarettes but it's proving a challenge. Email me if you prefer and if you don't mind reminding me. Thanks.

    Invincible,

    you are referring to COPD
    Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
    http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Chronic-obstructive-pulmonary-disease/Pages/Introduction.aspx

At present I have 61 yr lung age & 48% Lung Capacity
Anyone with this MUST quit smoking or don't expect to be alive in 4 years time !

Asthma can develop into COPD ! - also if you need help convincing them get in touch ... I'm 31 and don't think I'll be here in 6 years time sad to say :(

Thank you for reminding me of the name of it. From reading it seems particularly unpleasant. I shall try to stick this information under the nose of the person I'm trying to pursuade to try e-cigarettes again. Thanks for the offer of getting in touch too. :) Will see. Also I hope you're able to quit smoking and overcome the condition. Clearly 31 is far too young to be thinking about passing away.

Thanks & It is horrible ( picture asthma x10 or getting out of breath chasing your toddler round living room :( )
Doctors aren't just telling you to quit just because its unhealthy.. its because this is how you will end up. as soon as you are diagnosed early stages of COPD that is your LAST opportunity to quit, you get no more chances after that

Apologies for hijacking the thread :) although quite an on-topic discussion lol
