hi people, i like my private numberplates so decided to have a punt at this.

some of the most expensive numberplates have the name "singh" selling for hundreds of thousands, so i thought i would combine the two, thought it would be cool to have the domain printed on the plate to match, these are the ones i went for as they are on cars already.

been there, seen it and done it.

dorsetweb.co.uk had the idea about 4 years ago and someone else on here was on about it a few weeks ago.

the idea is "dead in the water" as they say

you never know. if you saw your name/private reg as a domain wouldnt you want it?
this is the trouble with finishing work early, i get bored!!!

It may not make you loads of money, but I think its a good idea, very clever

51NGH would have to be preceded by TWO alphas to be valid. (eg KK51NGH, AA51NGH)
K-SINGH - Is not even close to being a UK issed registration as there are no numerics in it and "I" is not used at all.

Apologies, I was treating the 51 as the year 51 (new style reg).
Those are valid.

I believe the owner (possibly previous if it has been sold) of MR51 NGH is a registration dealer and has several "SINGH"s.
