Fella, that logo is bad. Very bad.

http://www.wildfires.co.uk/promotions-testimonials.php - this page doesn't work in IE7. The text is all over the shop and covers most of the images.

In fact, its the same with all the pages plus the front page READ MORE links have moved and are now on top of the text.

Thanks Firestars - I'm a mac user and had someone check it in IE and they said the text didn't move and stayed in place but I guess they lied - I just asked them and they said that they only checked in FF only.

Will redo it. for IE.

Can I ask a favour. If you take a look at it in FF on PC, the bits should be in place - can you tell me what you think then.

Also I don't think that the logo is that bad! Maybe it's a taste thing. I'm not trying to win awards... just something that'll do for now

Thanks for reviewing though (only one so far).

Anyone else?

Looks fine in FF apart from the grey bar for the footer runs across a couple of images, needs dropping a bit.

Thanks Firestars -

OK it's taken a few hours but I redid all the css (most of which was positioning things absolutely - silly me!)

But I'd be grateful if someone (Firestars? ) can check the site on IE / FF on PC to see if things are in place this time.

Also am keen to hear from others about the logo, colour scheme, layout. Is it good enough to stick with or should I redo bits?

Thanks.

i'm using ie 6 and the green block is below the left and middle one. I take it it should be 3 columns side by side?

Wildfires text top left could be made a bit bigger so it's clear it's the company title.

Blue and white flame logo good but could be polished slightly (sharpening, maybe a slight edge bevel) to make it look really good.

Home page section titles like "Who are we & what can we do for you?" - make them shorter and consider using a proper font instead, will give a better impression.

Two of the read more buttons are off the bottom of the page on my monitor, this should be avoided if possible.

I'm not that keen on the reversed text top right of the home page. Perhaps consider using black text, slightly bigger or different font, and italic instead.

Thanks Accelerator.

Really appreciate you taking the time to look at this along with Hammer and Firestars.

Will try and review the things you mentioned.
