I said IS ????? as this name was offered with several others on ******* as well as sedo,

It could be said that auctions accurately portrays market prices.personally I think they will be an ok longer term investment but short term flipping could be hard, the market has dropped by 30% to 40% Its not just the global crisis But some of the decicsion made by UDRP Decisions

The LLL names sold you have listed above are bottom of the market LLL.coms

None of them start with W (world) and none of them have any vowels.

WAE.com has the w start and the 2 most wanted vowels and it has over 3,000,000 google results.

Be honest, where is the comparison. The difference is black and white.

They're not cheap, they're pretty much useless, as far as i'm concerned they sold for good money

If your trying to flip it most would or should have seen it….? if they do for a living checking auction sites or buying from individuals etc is what the business is all about,

A generic word may be better suited from a revenue , seo point of view ? and normally LLL.coms are risky to park due to reverse domain hijack

Wipo iccan etc etc have a totally different point of view than nominet if you come along and try a sell a domain name to a company that you have only owned a few days to an existing business not even mentioning trademarks for those words could be very tricky …?

If you owned it years maybe not, but days....? if the word was generic It would be different

As you bought the domain three days ago the market value would be better worked out by how much the person below you bid, if it had been a private sale or on a lesser auction site you would have had a better chance of a bargain
selling to an end user they want there initials etc not the best vowels fly has none at all...? The list of all the ones I have seen this year is defiantly down on previous year’s prices with one or two exceptions

You have inadvertedly confirmed the valuation of wae is at the higher end.

There is only 1 domain with 2 vowels in it and probably the worst letter Q

Surely wae.com being registered in 1995, pagerank 3, 3 million search results on google should command a higher price than EQI com $6,000 May 09 Sedo

I suppose it would depend on whats more important if its vowels yes,,,? if its google searches then mine would be RIJ.com at nearly 5.6 million google searches

As I had said now is a good time to buy just not to sell ? so if you can just sit on it for a few years the return would be better, I was lucky enough to have sold some in 2007 but have keep hold of others so have kept a keen eye on lll.coms and have noticed more coming on the market and at lower prices

All the best with whatever you decide to do with it

Valid point, but i just looked in acronymfinder and there are no verified acronyms for RIJ compared to quite a number for WAE. Rij does not have a pagerank, was registered 3 years after WAE, is not in Y directory, dosn't have a compete ranking, and has 4 of the 6 TLDs are available to buy on sedo. Supply and demand.
