oogauge / org / uk

oo gauge (as in model trains) got 301,000 exact searches in Dec, but the domain in question is the .org.uk version

What's the forum etiquette regarding asking for appraisals - should I try and limit it to a couple a week?

Would any members be willing to have a look over maybe 10 (max) .uk names and give me their honest opinions.

Hi there.

I think adwords maybe playing up again I'm afraid.

Have a look at the trend-line and you'll see the 300k appeared out of nowhere.

I don't think there's any real value in this name.

OnlineRailways was free to reg last time I looked....

(it's a bit of a punt but I reckon that might be a decent name for trainspotters etc...)

To get your other names appraised have a look at the link below. It could be worth dropping a line to the OP..

All the best.

Steve.

Thanks Steve.

I think it would make a decent domain for a model railway shop/affiliate site, oo gauge = all the Hornby stuff, but I take on board your point regarding the trend line.

It's a fair point too regarding the Hornby stuff.

I suppose it's an acquired knowledge.

I saw 2 'spotters' today - well I actually just avoided them on a narrow bridge..lense covers were off, there may have been the odd thermos too..I think they were expecting something really special

All the best,

Steve.
