Currently up for auction on Sedo, just wondered what it is worth?

a .me.uk is also page 1 Google for "grand national" so a .me.uk has good seo potential.

    Thanks

Who is your bidder at 500 Euros ?
If it's genuine then snap it up

What do you base your "valuation" on?

Do you know the sports betting market and Grand National potential?

    The initial bid is low.

Probably the owner of the hyphenated domain

Competition is v.tough in this arena all I can say is best of luck as the net is flooded with free bets type sites

Added - it's a good opening bid well done

For a .me.uk the opening bid is very high, no matter what the keyword!

All the best with the sale :)

Won't this even with the opening bid end up in the top sales for a .me.uk ? I don't recall that many hitting mid-xxx not that I watch as I don't think I own a single .me.uk (apart from that thing 1and0 detagged, so I don't watch them.

    You are mental

I've got 2 .me.uks > one which I am ditching and one which I am definitely keeping and that is Afghanistan;me;uk.

If they do develop value then a country domain should sell for nice money  one day..............one day ;)

    guilty too... I have packageholidays//me//uk ( > 300,000 uk exacts in March)

sorry - interrupting an appraisal thread.

grandnational.me.uk looks good... I hope your sale goes through and we find another benchmark price for a .me.uk domain.

    best of luck, Luke

Maybe in 5 to 10 years they will be worth same as .co.uks today, I doubt it but if you reg 10 quality .me.uks now >

    10 domains at £7 for 2 years over 10 years = £350

Could be a nice roi

I'll just take chance on one knowing that if they do gain value then I have a quality generic ;)

Luke you were 9 seconds faster

I'm living proof of that. Opening bid on Sedo £400  went to auction and sold for £400.
    Sold to an American

    http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/sold-domains/67765-crohnsdisease-me-uk.html

    I had 37 medical condition me.uk's. 36 to go ;)

That aside, Yahoo and Bing like me.uk's. If it is a direct type in generic, you will be on page one.
I have 2 page sites on them all. Set them up and done nothing more to them. They bring on average £50-£60 a month collective rev.

    36@£7 every 2 years = £252

    24@£50 = £1200

    Nothing wrong with me.uks.
