    I'd have thought around £100.

Thanks for your valuation. Much appreciated.

Any thoughts on generating a revenue from such a broad term guys ?

I'm no developer but I am curious !

    Cheers.

I run a number of affiliate-based travel sites. There are all sorts of things you could do in that line, selling hotel stays, flights, books, etc.

    Thank you, Steve! :)

It's actually 'work in progress'. Delve too deep and you'll find there's a few 'coming soon' pages... with time, though, it should be jam-packed with lots of useful info, much more than you would normally get from a self-catering site.

For a work in progress it's very impressive.

The balcony shot has sold it for me. A slice of tranquility...

Nice logo too ! (You'll have to get me on a commission !)

I bet you've been busy recently.

If Katla blows you'll be laughing

(well if it's still safe to go outdoors and there are any views left to admire through the volcanic haze !:))

    Thanks again... :)

We did have guests last week as a result of the Iceland eruption, yes... they were meant to be in Turkey. They wrote in the visitors book that a weekend at our place beat a week in Turkey, so can't complain with a comment like that. :)

I'd always thought that the balcony shot was critical. You can't see it so clearly but that's Kendal Castle on the hill in the distance (where Henry VIII's sixth wife, Catherine Parr, lived before moving to London). I want to get a professional shot done but need to wait until there's some leaves on the trees (hopefully next month).

As for the logo, that was actually done by someone in India, would you believe it? I used a crowdsourcing site to get it done - first and only time I've ever tried crowdsourcing, but I was pleased with the final result.

Sorry... I'm digressing somewhat from the original post...!

Oh, one other thing... I read yesterday on Travelmole that the airlines are putting up prices to recover costs. I'd assumed the opposite would happen to try and get people flying again (rather than putting it off in case of more explosions). Maybe this will result in more people holidaying at home...

I think the picture strikes a nice balance.

It's obviously difficult to get Kendal Castle in the shot as well as the luxurious surroundings of your balcony.

Need a big old lense !

They did a great job with the logo. Really captures the essence.

Re. Airlines, I think a few are teetering on the edge.

All the best with the venture. The property looks great.

And thanks for your thoughts on my domain name.

I'm to blame for any digression :)
