Sorry, to be more specific- is it worth me trying to sell this domain name or is it worth £0?

Many thanks.

Could be good for a site about ghost walks, ghost tours etc. Certainly worth more than 0. Probably a few hundred pounds or so, more if you can find an appropriate end user.

Many thanks for your replies.

I've genuinely no clue as to how or how much to sell this domain for. I've checked the Google Keyword tool under the word 'haunted' with local results of 823,000 monthly searches. Does this have any bearing on its value? Sorry if this all sounds a bit noob.

People are interested in local exact searches and that is just less than 10,000.

As for selling, remember that you're asking on a forum where people buy names as a gamble/investment so you will never get the price that an end user might pay but that illusive end user may never appear, that's the gamble.

As a comparison on value, spooky.co.uk sold at auction last year for less than £700 and personally I think that name has more legs.

Thanks Sean.

As I'm posting on here to the chaps that buy, or so to speak- would it be against forum protocol to just post up an immediate asking price?

A better indicate is to select "exact" matches which gives a more modest 9900 monthly searches. It also has a relatively low 31p average cpc.

A decent domain, I'd agree personally value at mid hundreds.

Not sure if there are affiliate programmes for haunted hotels but that might be an idea.

It's a nice name that folk would be willing to pay a decent amount for, not sure how much.

Why did you buy the domain? The reasons you bought the domain for should give you a good idea as to how valued the domain is; the more reasons you can think of the higher the value. People who may want to buy the domain will be thinking the same reasons I'm sure. According to Google keyword tool, the term 'haunted' gets searched approx. 9,900 times every month so there must be something to that.

With regards to the search results for any keyword term, the fewer there are, the more chance you have of getting ranked high. Doesn't really have much bearing on value I wouldn't think but to resellers, the fewer search results the better.
