Hi ,

I have recently done a catch for this name , seems to have 60,500 uk exact search , with 100% advertising competition ,

what can i expect from this name or should i go for development.

Although you say it's a recent catch it was regged in Feb 2008?

As you're probably aware (by the way you selectively cropped the "trend" graph on your attached picture), the UK search volume for this phrase was between 200-400 until September when it rocketed to 40,000 to 60,000.

As such I'd say it's a false reading and a reg fee name, so it's only going to have value if you develop it into a successful money making site, which obviously isn't going to be easy.

hi yes its a drop catch domain , and i do see that the search count is not constant .

I find it very odd that the UK exacts for a golf related term is nearly non existent during the hotter months of the year

I've often wondered about search terms that come from nowhere to be a reasonably large volume, you see them relatively often. Are they errors on Google's part, or is it possible to set off a bot somewhere to search for terms that are then recorded by Google?

Unless it's xmas, valentines etc or a news story such as volcanic ash then I would safely say that the results are incorrect

This domain was registered over two years ago so cannot be a recent catch...

"Dropped" or "Caught" means the domain expired and was then newly registered by someone so the "Registered on" date would be a recent date.

The domain in the subject/title hasn't been caught, it's been renewed today by the (presumably) previous registrant.
