My valuation was for a quick sale in here, on Acorn Auctions or on DomainLore. After all, we're comparing an offer of CURRENT cash (which requires an instant decision) so it only makes sense to compare with the CURRENT value of the domain. And the only way to unlock ANY value right now this instant is to flog it at reseller prices via the sales outlets I mentioned.

Any hypothetical future value based on waiting and waiting and waiting for the right end-user to show up is irrelevant in this case since it's impossible to predict whether you'll be waiting 6 months, 6 years or 6 lifetimes to get that 5-figure "value" back from a sale.

That's the trouble with holding out for end-user prices. The amounts are nice, but the timing is TOTALLY out of your control.

I wouldn't be surprised to see it go for 4-5 figures, as these things sometimes fit into advertising schemes of big companies. But I personally wouldn't pay more than �100 for it. I'm basing that on I wouldn't have a clue what to do with it and that some people might get confused and start spelling it with an "a" affective.

Take the money sharpish imo

I think we all accept Edwins expertise is in immediate liquidity. If the domain were mine and I was offered �5k cash for it, I'd be absolutely chuffed. Take the Cash for your work
