![]() | ActingForum/co/uk and DancingForum/co/uk - What do you think?
Hi guys, Just wondering what you thought of these two names. I'm pretty sure I will not have the time to develop any of these personally but with such a massive potential audience wanting to get into both of these businesses a forum is perfect. I personally prefer the first one. Thanks in advance. Nick.

Acting forum is good. It would have been better if you had Dance Forum - just sounds better than the word 'dancing'. Forum domains don't make much undeveloped. If I had to chose between them I'd develop acting forum. |

I feel both these names have traffic potential, but as a pure internet advertising play, they are less attractive than other sectors. They could be very useful for real world businesses, e.g. acting agencies, but as there's no "easy win" for web developers, the domains won't make big sales easily, and selling them to real world businesses will require a lot of sales effort (but not impossible!) Forum domains never seem easy to sell undeveloped - and unless it's in a particularly good sector, the domains struggle to receive many direct navigation type-ins. Although I kind of prefer the first one as a domain for the reasons already mentioned above, I would actually suggest that DancingForum/co.uk is the better of the two to develop. There is a considerably higher search volume for "dancing forum" - locally, almost 50 times as many searches as "acting forum" (5,400 v 100). Strictly Come Dancing and all the other shows are really popular discussion topics. And with ice dancing, club dancing, tap dancing / Gene Kelly / Fred Astaire etc. as possible sub forum topics, I think you could potentially create a forum with relatively high traffic. But it will need time, attention...and a lot of it! Good luck if you decide to develop either of them! Best wishes, Richard
