Hello all I registered the above domain along with the .co.uk after I had downed one too many guinesses. My wife has now removed all credit cards from my wallet!!! Anyway, as the domain name isn't going to sell, I was wondering if it was worth developing into a "new to betting" guide? Would adsense and affiliate links pay after a year if i work on long tail keywords. I appreciate the betting industry is highly competitive, and just wondered if anybody had any thoughts/ideas as to areas I could focus on (horse racing/casino tables/spread betting/grand national once a year!). Any thoughts/ideas would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

![]() | Wise move Betting is a competitive area, and if I was looking to develop a website focussing on it then I would start off with a higher quality domain (the best you can afford). If you have some time to spare and aren't looking to sell it then you may as well stick some content up though, but just remember you will be competing with hundreds of other websites with the same thought. Also, always value the time you actually spent on developing a domain as a cost too. It may work out worth your while to scrap it and move on to something else if you can't sell it. |
