I guess I should take credit for Porn4aPound.com and TheDirtyArab.com, I'm glad you found it amusing. I actually still have the footage for the first website

James getting whipped was rather amusing and added some light entertainment to the evening (How scary was that woman, I wouldn't want to fight her for a fiver). One of the funniest things I heared all night was..."Have you ever came home with a beautiful girl and said to her "I'm just going to check my e-mail" and an hour later you are still at your computer" - You gotta love the Irish. Oh yeh, and the story of "High Pressured Intelligent Ventilation" from Tommy - the weegies are always scamming someone haha!

All in all I thought it was really productive. It is nice to put faces to names and share tips, experiences etc. I definately learned a lot from it, particularly from Scott and All of SelfMadeMinds and it was great to network. I'd like to think we are all friends now but I'm grateful for particularly meeting Rob Prime as we're looking to work together in the future.

We definately need to have regular meetings, hopefully sometime in the future I'll have a guest room in my apartment for someone to crash to make it cheaper/easier to come along.

Once again thanks to all who contributed, organised and came along!

Indeed yes, thanks to Rob and James for the organising. I'd attend a 6-monthly, quarterly, .... perhaps rotating round Embra, Stirling, Glasgow, The Broch.


Here's an idea. Nothing to do with anything, but it just occured to me and I think its brilliant and you guys might like it.

I find sites I use regularly by starting to type in the address bar, and letting it fill in when it recognises the url. Then I hit the down arrow and enter in one quick flick.

So, if one had a domain name that started www.micro...... and a user started to type w w w . m i c r o and noticed that the name had filled in and pressed enter, could they end up visiting http://www.micro-I-know-you-thought-...e-here-now.com

Now tell me somebody thought of that already

A huge thanks to Rob and Namedrive for organising this event. I really enjoyed meeting those that I managed to speak to. Sorry I had to leave early as it would have been good to meet the other half of the table!

I had a great time too, was good to meet faces old and new. Fantastic choice of venue I think Rob.

Tommy, I regretted the cigars the following day (as did other Rob) but appreciate the gesture of course

It was nice of the casino to let me in despite being unable to write my own name. Quite a shock when I learned after yet more whiskies that it had crept up to 7am and my train was going to be leaving in two hours.

I spent 6 hours standing in the buffet carriage, badly hungover the whole way back to London. They'd oversold all seats (even first class was standing room only)... probably the most crammed nightmarish ordeal of a train journey ever!

Ah, how you pay for the good times...

Rob, shame Domain Focus hit the wall last year, for what ever reason, the past is the past, Imagine the comments you would have got had you hosted Domain Focus Australia I hear the bash down under was amazing !!! Next time mate.

James, nothing about you surprises me, you are a top bloke and i am always disappointed when you cannot make an RSVP. Hope the chopper ride met your expectations

Bloody good job Rob, cannot wait till the next one you put on, from what you told me of the venue, the comments you have recived are understated, your a top host, very much looking foward to inviting you to the next dinner I host at my home.
