Post privalige.co.uk & mercer.co.uk appeals

The appeal of privalige.co.uk is now on Nominet's website:

http://www.nic.uk/digitalAssets/9377...ion_answer.pdf

No action surprise surprise.

Also looks like mercer.co.uk is going to appeal:

Decisions

Transfer
Appeal Pending

Think i'll give up domaining and become a ip lawyer ! it pays more.

Ha

Oh yes Nominet...

Nominet states on this case 'Nominet recognises that experts may on occasion make mistakes'

My comment in respect to generic domain names 'Nominet doesn't recognise (through the policy) that registrants may on occassion make mistakes when using their domain names'

When experts make mistakes we should transfer their expert title to another....keep it fair

Why would it be "surprise surprise" because of another "No Action"? I'd have expected the former "No Action" decision to have been "Overturned: Transferred" rather than "Overturned: No Action", since I took your "surprise surprise" to be sarcastic (which I think it was). Anyway the decision was actually "Overturned: Transferred" so it's a mistake on the Nominet web site.

I cannot wait to see the outcome of that one.

...Therefore I ask - Can the Nominet Contract be voidable under the Doctrine of Mistake???

Regards,

Sneezy.

Noticed that earlier. Hope he felt it was worth the £3000.

Somehow, I doubt it. Mind if I rattle off one of my old favourites which is "cost of doing business"?
