French firm trying to get my .uk

I have a .uk and this French firm sent a C&D letter and is trying to claim "that I fraudulently registered it".
The company does own the .com version of it -- however they have no trademark for the domain itself in the UK. They do however own a trademark for "COMPANY" though I have "COMPANY[EXTRA]"
They talk about they own an American trademark, an EU Community trademark, French trademark and International trademark for "COMPANY" but they don't own any trademark for "COMPANY[EXTRA]".

They aren't a huge company, but I know that the French attitude is very bullying... I know straight off from the "fraudulenty registered it" claim that they are just trying to frighten me...

Any advice apart from deleting the domain?

It all depends. Have you been treading on their feet?
If not, you write back and politely explain that you have never heard of them and have no idea what they are talking about.
