Next there will be a new type of drop catcher, DRS catchers

Chuck them a couple of quid and see if they can get the domain for you!

I might have a go. My surname used to be a shop chain which was taken over years ago. They just point the domain at their main site now. I may drs stating it's my name so i have more rights than them.

Has any of you launched a DRS yet? I don't think its wise to use this mechanism to making a point, I am sure Nominet will pick up on any scams and reverse any decissions.

Totally understand mate, but you sound like you understand the situation the same as me and that is Nominet have no guidelines for this and will be making it up as it happens.

Nothing came back my end and as it was reported that people on Nom-Steer were discussing it, I felt my point was made. So didn't chase it up or file any further DRS's

Can't see how the point was made if you didn't follow up the process? or Nominet DRS department just ignored it? If they did, do they decide whats valid or not? They shouldn't, due process....
