The meta description tag for both their co.uk and .com domains still show the following:
"oasis.com, oasis.co.uk, oasis.net"

What's the legalities in that?

(the .net is owned by someone in the USA)

Thanks to you all for your messages of congratulations! And also thanks to everyone who has sent me dated screenshots of their source code which still refers to my domain names, even now! (there isn't much I can do about that unfortunately)

Can you not DRS their oasis-stores domain name for infringing on your brand?

OK best not to push your luck

poxy little clothes firm, they'll be going to the wall like the rest of them anyway.

the only ones who could have mounted a challenge i guess would be the gallaghers but they're too pissed to care

Your right Pred they probably will goto the Wonderwall
I have to say this whole DRS case was a Defintely maybe
My advice to the CEO and PR of Oasis stores is Don't look back in anger
Changing their tags and bidding on other peoples domain names as keywords wasn't exactly part of The masterplan
Little by little these businesses are learning what's what
They must be left asking Where did it all go wrong ?
well all i say is Whatever !!!

TBH, I immediately thought of the drink (made by coke IIRC) rather than the clothes chain!

Their use of the keywords in their site has been reported in the news section on Acorn, it links to this news item:

Retailer cites own keyword advertising as evidence of domain name owner's abuse | OUT-LAW.COM

OUT-LAW News, 08/04/2009

Clothes shop Oasis has lost its bid to gain control of the domain name oasis.co.uk because any behaviour abusive of its trade marks on the site was the result of its own actions, a dispute resolution panel has ruled.

So did I but in reality why do oasis (the drink) need a website? all of their advertising is done on TV or in magazines or posters. I don’t think they benefit too much from their website its one of those things that doesn’t need internet advertising and gain more from there visual in your face adverts on television, magazines and posters. Where as the clothing brand Oasis revolves around internet advertising as I don’t believe they have stores.

Why have you *manually* added your link/signature? Does your pest control swat spammers as well?

Incidently Oasis clothing *do* have high street stores.
