ad words - apparently this is a popular advertising program??

well i have the domain of the co.uk variety

anyone got any advice - is it worth arguing about?

I have Ad Aware

Ofcourse I have plans to develop it into a site based around online advertising

Someone must of let the cat out about my new venture as it gets a suprising amount of type ins!

i've had the american lawyer letter before but now its english based.

they are just asking that i give up the domain and have sent me a document to sign.

some advice would be appreciated

Well I certainly wouldnt try and fight Google.

The domain is what it is, theres no getting round that...

how long has adwords been active ?

cant remember when google started adwords

like myspace.. if it was before they launched adwords...fight !

domain reg'd in 2004 - ad words started in 2000 . . . apparently, $1.3 bil revenue in 2003
I have a full documented history, thanks to the lawyers.

Bit late now, but obviously when you registered it you thought it was generic.
However you are hardly the person to judge that they have sole rights. So why not just de-tag it and say that you promise not to renew.

That's nice, write back and state that you feel they're under achieving for the amount of publicity they seem to get. I had ad-aware.co.uk but sold that to them after Sweden came knocking with their solicitors.
