Jac

None of it adds up.

I will end with this:-

Michael Penman of Nominet recommended that I visit Acorn Domains to get an answer to a question.

The site was endorsed by Nominet.

I am aware of the content of the website, therefore was Nominet aware of the content of the website when making the recommendation to me?

Whilst I am sure Acorn Domains would love to be endorsed by the UK Registry, this is not the case. Nominet does not endorse specific fora.

Michael pointed you to Acorn because at the time he was trying to help you and if you remember correctly Lee, this was at the same time you were swamping Nominet and each individual PAB member with emails. Your emails actually mirrored a lot that was already being said on Acorn and he mistakenly believed, from the content of your emails, that you were already a member of this forum.

Genuine mistake on both our parts but not the hanging offence you seem to think it is. So sue me but pleeeeaaaaaase ... give over now.

Clearly jac

Acorn should have not been on his mind when dealing with me in a professional capacity, as such Nominet are accountable for his actions.

I am sorry but Trading Standards know of this so its down to them to consider whether such actions are professional or not.

Furthermore, how do you know what my conduct was like with Nominet, what have they disclosed to you?

Personally, I look forward to their findings.

Lee, will you for God sake stop looking for conspiracy and fault in everything. Just because you think the world's out to get you doesn't mean they are, and certainly not me!

The reference I made to emails was because of the volume you sent to every single PAB member's individual email address; much of it overly long and confusing; so much so that the appointed PAB members (in particular) just didn't have a clue what you were complaining about. I had trouble keeping up myself because I couldn't for the life of me see the connection between the different issues you were mixing up and if you remember correctly I told you so. Instead of thanks I got threats of holding my emails against me in a court of law. <sigh>

I know you were sending Nominet a lot of emails because by your own actions in emailing me you involved me in the issue. I take my responsibilities as a PAB member seriously and contacted Nominet to enquire as to the facts in the issue. I am allowed to do that because the PAB should represent stakeholders' views; that's what the PAB's mandate is; to be representative. You involved me, I followed up on your behalf, so please do not suggest to me, or this forum, that you now have an objection to someone from the PAB trying to help too!

amusing

Actually jac that was amusing. Yes I did send several emails to pab members to see if they could keep it professional when issues were at hand. What I didn't bank on was the fact that pab elected members are not linked in anyway to Nominet ie. do not represent Nominets views...therefore all those emails from the elected members had no bearing to my assessment of Nominet conduct.

Just to recap when you contact the DTI: My concern is the expert decisions do not reflect the policy (as written) or the Policy doesn't reflect the experts decisions.....in respect to 3aia of the Policy.
