Just reg'ed a domain and noticed a price change

From �6.09 for .uk domains to �6.56 not that much but I guess they need to creep back some money from somewhere

Could be that someone's worked out that �6.09 doesn't pay Nominet the credit card transaction fee and support staff

Hi folks,

I have been using Telivo.co.uk for the past 8 months to register my new .co.uk domains and they have been great.

They have a special on at the moment for �4 per .co.uk domain up to Christmas.

They are normally priced at �5 per .co.uk - .org.uk & .me.uk.

Now I would say that most people in this forum have a great deal more experience with .co.uk domains and maybe you guys know something that I don't, but the company seems to be good.

Saying that though, I regged some domains with 123reg the other day, I had a query so used there support centre, and they responded within a few hours.

May be the extra price is to cover more staff that actually respond within 2 weeks.

It is indeed true. For that extra small amount, you now actually get customer support from 123reg!!

Sorry I forgot to say in my post above that there was no VAT on those prices for me as I am in Australia.
