Hi there

I have finally had enough of 1and1.co.uk and would like to transfer my 133 domains to another registrar. Hence I could really do with help on the following questions?

Who to transfer them to?
Will it cost me to transfer them?
HOW to transfer them?
Any thing to be wary of?

Ive just done the same thing, moved a couple of hundred domains away from 1and1 due to their bastardly organisation, dropping/loosing a couple of domains and generally overcharging me for the priv. I moved my good stuff to namesco...super expensive and the junk to ukreg. Tip make sure and go through the full routine with 1and1 ie follow the links to the master control to transfer or you will be hounded for renewals next year.

I've just had £800 put back on a credit card by their billing dept following a nasty debacle. PM me if you want for more info.

It's not too bad to move them away from oneandone, probably around 20 minutes work if they are .co.uk's

Chnage them all indivudally rather than cancel the contract as it's better in the long run.

Personally reccomend Heart, they are pretty good for the control panel.
